The children are able to colourfully paint the mosaic with watercolours or thicker felt pens according to their ideas.
If you want to tint the joints, you can paint the complete mosaic (incl. joints of course) with very liquid water paint before and let it dry for a short time.
Then simply paint over the individual stones with the desired colours and your own mosaic is finished.
