The technique is very simple. All you and your little artists need are water or tempera paints. Here's how you proceed:
- Prime the entire mosaic tile with a background color of your choice. You can choose the color you want the joints to be. Simply distribute it over the entire mosaic tile with plenty of water.
- After a short drying time (approx. 5-10 minutes), individually paint the individual stones of the pattern with the colors of your choice. Mix the paint a little less fluidly now so that the background color of the mosaic tile can be covered. Colorful or simple colors – there are no limits to imagination!
- Let it dry and your own Roman mosaic tile is ready!
